Fishing tours

The Southern African waters compare with the best in the world – not only in the variety of species but also in the location of fishing water.
Deep sea, coastal and freshwater – we have them all! As with Africa’s wildlife, the fish from here are bigger, stronger, faster and meaner!
Fishing is close to Chris’s heart – he is an experienced fisherman in African waters.

From deep sea game off Cape Point to small tributaries on the Zambezi River, he will do his utmost to ensure you land ‘the big one’.
Southern African Journeys uses a fleet of boats depending on the type of fish targeted and fishing conditions. The skippers have many years of experience and are all IGFA-certified captains (some of these guys can smell the fish!)

The crews are well-trained, and many are qualified skippers themselves.

All boats have safety, navigational and communications equipment.
Only premium quality tackle and equipment are used on the boats. You are welcome to bring your own personalised rig along. Food and refreshments are provided on all trips.
